Anitun Tabu is described as a “fickle-minded” goddess. With her nature associated customarily in the weather, as she is the divine being of wind and rain. She is one of the two children of Dumangan (the sky-god of good harvest) and Idinale (the goddess of labor, good deed, and animal husbandry).
Some people say that she is a lesser deity and her role is mainly on assisting the chief god (Bathala). People used to honor her by offering her the first fruits of their harvest.
